Dalom Kids

The Dalom Kids is a female musical group founded by the late Daniel Tshanda in 1987. They released their debut album, Mbalembale, in 1989, which was a huge success and achieved double platinum status. After the success of Mbalembale, Dalom Kids continued to release popular albums produced by Tshanda, including Mathambo (1990) and Ndincedeni (1991). The latter album was particularly significant for featuring the hit song “God of Mercy,” which remains one of the group’s most beloved tracks.

The group’s music is characterized by a blend of gospel-like chants and electronic disco beats.
