LaliBoi (meaning ‘rural boy’) also known as Siphosenkosi Nkodlwane is a South African lyricist, guitarist, and trumpeter who fused his rural Xhosa roots with streetwise township flavor to create one of the most exciting South African Hip-hop releases of recent years, called Siyangaphi. LaliBoi has created a unique and vital blend of Hip-hop, jazz, and traditional South African tribal music.
