Tsietsi Daniel Motijoane also affectionately known as “Nana Coyote” for his vocal ability to sing in falsetto and a deep growling voice grew up in the dusty streets of Sharpeville. When he performed in his electrifying growling voice, his fans referred to him as “The Wild Dog”
Coyote was part of prominent South African music groups Ozila, Stimela, and Sankomota (Uhuru) and later was signed to Kisanji Entertainment, Joe Nina’s record label. Nana Coyote’s first solo album under the Kisanji label, titled “Majaja” was released in August 2003.
