Twins

South African twin brothers Nhlanhla and Lucky Shabangu, known musically as “Twins,” rose to fame in the early 1990s. Originally part of a larger group that included two sets of twins, they debuted with a platinum-selling self-titled album featuring “Ngiyasha” at the dawn of South Africa’s democracy. Their success continued with a double-platinum follow-up, which produced hits like “Shona Phansi” and “Love 10000.”

They are making a comeback in 2025 with a remix of their hit “Shona Phansi,” produced by veteran DJ Choc Ngwenya. This remix blends contemporary pop, Afrobeat, and modern production with their signature soulful vocals.
