HARDWICKE CIRCUS: THE BRITISH ROADSHOW OF ROCK 'N' ROLL HEADS FOR SOUTH AFRICA JOHANNESBURG & CAPE TOWN: 21-30 NOVEMBER 2024
The road is calling and Hardwicke Circus is answering with the roar of Drums, Guitars, Saxes and the stomp of boots on stage.
Hailing from the wild winds of Cumbria, these young upstarts have been turning heads and stealing hearts from Carlisle to Camden. Now, they’re ready to take on South Africa – performing alongside the Springbok Nude Girls and other South African bands on a tour that promises to be a sonic journey through the heart of rock ‘n’ roll.
Fresh off the release of their critically acclaimed singles The Colour in Everything & Walking on Broken Glass, their albums “The Borderland”, “At Her Majesty’s Pleasure” (recorded at 10 HMP prisons) & “Fly the Flag”, Hardwicke Circus is a band that’s breathing new life into the British music scene.

The Band
Hardwicke Circus comprises Jonny Foster (lead vocals & guitar), Tom Foster (drums & backing vocals), Jimi Boswell (Rhythm & lead guitar & backing vocals), Gavin McDonald (bass), Jack Pearce (Sax) and Freddie Lea (keyboards & backing vocals).
Their upcoming unplugged album, recorded live in Holborn London is set to drop into the still waters of the indie music world on their own label Alternative Facts Records on 29th November on Vinyl & CD. These lads are proving there’s more to their sound than just amplifiers and attitude. ‘Cumbria Pizza’ is the soundtrack of northern nights – raw, real, and soaked in the sweat of a thousand gigs.

This isn’t just another band trying to make it; this is a band on a mission, driving through the night with nothing but the sound of the road and the rhythm of the ride to keep them company. Hardwicke Circus has been likened to some greats – Springsteen, Dylan, The Doors & The Clash – but they’re carving out their own path, their own sound, a roaring mix of anthemic choruses and tales of life on the edge. Whilst in South Africa they will also be collaborating with a number of the country’s leading artists to gain inspiration and to give back to the local music scene.
