2025 marks the triumphant return of South Africa’s legendary musical duo, Twins—Nhlanhla and Lucky Shabangu. Celebrating over 30 years of captivating fans, their remix of the iconic hit “Shona Phansi” blends nostalgia with contemporary Afrobeat and pop elements, reigniting the magic of their platinum-selling legacy.

Emerging in the early 90s, Twins rose to fame as part of a groundbreaking group founded by Tebogo Sithathu, uniting two sets of twins to create an unforgettable musical force. Their debut album, (produced by Joe Nina), featured hits like “Ngiyasha” and went platinum. This was followed by double-platinum success with chart-topping hits including “Shona Phansi”, “Love 10,000”, and “Higher and Higher.”
Collaborating with South African legends like Lucky Dube, Hugh Masekela, and Brenda Fassie, and performing with international icons such as Michael Jackson, Tevin Cambell, and Whitney Houston (under the guidance of their late brand manager, Zindzi Mandela), Twins set a standard of excellence that transcends borders.
